Biography

Tim Olsen has been a respected musician and guitar instructor in the Vancouver area for the last 20 years. After graduating from high school he toured, composed and recorded with many local and international artists including Connie Scott, Jerry Doucette, Roy Salmond, Brian Doerksen and Andy Park. Being well versed in many styles he has performed with the Vancouver Symphony, Promise Keepers, Vineyard and Hosanna Integrity conferences, and has recording credits in every style from Big Band to Hard Rock.

At the encouragement and mentorship of some local university music professors, Tim started his teaching career and quickly became one of the most in-demand teachers in his area. He has an ability to see and teach music from many different perspectives and the years of professional, practical experience in the music business makes him unique.

Tim completed his Classical Guitar Degree from the London College of Music in May of 2008 and lives with his wife and daughter in Fort Langley, British Columbia.
