Leadership experiences are an opportunity for students to apply what they have learned in their course work in a practical experience either on or off campus. The student will learn from observing others as well as leading in their field of expertise. The leadership experiences, completed in 3rd and 4th year, are a valuable opportunity for the student to learn about potential careers in the field of Human Kinetics.


Laurentian Leadership Center (LLC) in Ottawa, Ontario

Students may choose a semester at the LLC and obtain up to 6 semester hours of leadership credits. Possible opportunities may include working for the Ministry of Health or Sport, or placement with any of the National sport organizations located in Ottawa.
