Canadian Mental Health Association: provides a variety of information on various mental health issues.
Mood Disorders Association of B.C.: a non-profit organization that provides treatment, support, education and hope of recovery for people living with a mood disorder.
Here to Help: This Canadian website has toolkits and manuals that can be downloaded on topics such as depression, anxiety and substance abuse. It also has advice on how to be most helpful when family members are struggling with mental health issues.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Worksheets: A collection of worksheets which can be downloaded for free to help you with anxiety, depression, anger and several other mental health issues.
Open Mind BC: A comprehensive website of local government sponsored mental health services.
Red Book Online: This is the most complete online guide to non-profit community, social and government agencies and services across the lower mainland.

Controlling Anger Before it Controls You is an article from the American Psychological Association's website.
When Anger Hurts (2nd Edition) Quieting the Storm Within is a great book with theory and practical applications written by Matthew McKay, Peter Rogers and Judith McKay.
Anxiety Disorders Association of B.C. is the website of a non-profit society formed to increase awareness of anxiety disorders and currently available treatments.
Anxiety B.C. This website is targetted to teens and youths and includes information on a variety of anxiety-related issues and self-help programs.
Mood Gym is a free self-help interactive program to teach cognitive behavioural therapy skills to people vulnerable to depression and anxiety.
Relaxation Audio: McGill's student wellness hub offers a variety of meditation techniques which may you with relaxation and stress-reduction.
The Organization for Bipolar Affective Disorders is a provincial organization based out of Calgary, whose mission is to help people affected directly or indirectly by Bipolar Disorder live better lives. It has a list of great books and other resources which help those affected, understand the disorder better.
Antidepressant Skills Workbook gives an overview of depression, explans how it can be effectively managed according to the best available research and gives a step-by-step guide to changing patterns that trigger depression.
Screening Test for Depression - this is a brief on-line tool to help assess whether you have depression and should seek further treatment.
The National Eating Disorders Information Centre (NEDIC) is a Canadian non-profit providing resources on eating disorders and weight preoccupation.

Bodily Harm: The Breakthrough Healing Program for Self Injurers, by Karen Conterio and Wendy Lader. A good book on what self-injury is, why it happens, and what you can do to help yourself.
When Trust is Lost: Healing for Victims of Sexual Abuse, by Dan Allender. An excellent, short booklet that helps victims of sexual abuse find hope and healing.
Healing the Shame That Binds You, by John Bradshaw. This book has an inner child focus.
