First Step Networking
Building a Network starts with small steps.
For many people, networking sounds terrifying or at least really difficult. It doesn't have to be that way! We've partnered with 10,000 Coffees, supported by RBC, to make it really easy for you to connect with alumni, professors, staff, parents and friends of TWU. The idea is a simple one. Once you sign up to the platform, you will be automatically matched each month to someone interested in your stated goals, experience, and interests. Introductions are guided with suggested talking points, and you will receive feedback after each meeting. Ten Thousand Coffees can provide you with low risk opportunities to find out more about different areas of work, to practice telling your story, and to learn from people who have gone before you.
All you need to do is find time in each other's schedules for a "virtual coffee" - think 20 minutes! Start building your network now and better prepare yourself for life after TWU.
RBC Future Launch is RBC’s commitment to empower Canadian youth for the jobs of tomorrow. RBC is dedicating $500 million to help young people access meaningful employment through practical work experience, skills development, networking and access to mental well-being supports and services.
