This course focuses on experiential learning in the provision of nursing care for childbearing families. Emphasis is on the delivery of safe, clientcentred and evidence-informed healthcare to women, newborns, and their families during the childbearing years. Clinical reasoning is emphasized in assessment, planning and implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
