Develop practical leadership skills through a focused, 9-credit certificate designed to grow your capacity from self to teams to conflict. Through a three-course sequence, you will build confidence in communication, teamwork, and navigating real-world challenges. You will develop a shared framework and language for leadership while strengthening your ability to make thoughtful, ethical decisions in complex situations. This program prepares you to lead with clarity, emotional intelligence, and integrity across disciplines, teams, and contexts, while earning upper-level credits that contribute directly to your degree.

Format & Costs

This certificate is designed specifically for current TWU undergraduate students who are enrolled in a bachelor’s degree and want to build leadership skills alongside their studies. Courses are offered in both in-person and online formats during the regular Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters, depending on availability, allowing students to integrate the certificate flexibly into their academic schedule while gaining practical leadership training. Tuition follows standard undergraduate course rates (with an additional $40 fee for LDRS 211 only), and full details are available on the Tuition & Fees page.
