  • Norma Alloway Library is sending Fines to the Foodbank. Starting today and continuing until May 6, Norma Alloway Library patrons can clear any overdue fines they may have and help people in our community who use the Langley Foodbank. Until May 6, debit and credit payments for overdue fine payments made over the phone or in person will go to the Langley Foodbank. The library is also accepting acceptable food items for the Foodbank instead of cash payments. Each acceptable container of food brought to Norma Alloway Library will pay up to one dollar in overdue fines. The foodbank drive also includes amnesty for lost books. We'll gladly accept library material previously declared lost, along with a donation for the foodbank and clear all the overdue fees and fines associated with the lost item. Call 604-513-2023 or stop by soon to clear your overdue fine and help others in our community.
