Trinity Western University Invites Community to Special Groundbreaking Ceremony for Robert G. Kuhn Building

LANGLEY, B.C., February 10, 2020: Trinity Western University is delighted to invite the community to a groundbreaking ceremony on February 14 launching the construction of a beautiful marquee building at the campus’s entrance. The Robert G Kuhn Building is a key step in TWU’s emergence as a leader in the global post-secondary community and will house the School of Business, TWU GLOBAL, and Student Life’s Global Engagement office.

TWU’s top-ranked School of Business offers a global perspective and a hands-on, applied approach that prepares students for successful careers, while TWU GLOBAL engages adult, international, and online learners around the world and offers reputable degrees in some of the fastest-growing disciplines. Both departments give students the skills they need to excel with a competitive advantage and guidance to become confident, compassionate Christian leaders.

This exciting new addition to the campus is a direct result of the university’s tremendous growth over the past several years. It will help TWU meet the growing demand for practical future-forward programs taught in small, interactive classrooms where students receive the personalized attention they need to reach their academic goals and to excel in the career marketplace upon graduation.

“This building has been a vision for several years and we couldn’t be more thrilled to start construction,” says Aklilu Mulat, Senior Vice President of Business Administration and Chief Financial Officer. “We are grateful to our donors for wholeheartedly believing in Trinity Western University’s mission. Our current season of growth and this new addition to our campus would not have been possible without their continued support. We are excited about our future as we actively engage in education as a global institution.”

The building’s name honours the legacy of President Emeritus Bob Kuhn, who finished his presidential term in 2019 and whose exemplary leadership and care for students will have a lasting impact on TWU. Trinity Western University expresses utmost gratitude for the generous contributions of donors who helped to make this building a reality.

Trinity Western University is pleased to invite all faculty, staff, students, friends, community members, and media outlets to join them at this special groundbreaking ceremony on February 14 at 1:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.twu.ca/robertgkuhn
