Biography

Q: What excites you the most about campus life?

The opportunity to truly do life alongside students living in community in such a unique and beautiful way. My husband and I love opening up our home to students over a meal, a games night, or being a family/home away from home for so many. This makes me super excited for students to experience the connections and community that come from campus life!

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to read, or listen to audiobooks, spend time with community, go on long drives with my husband, explore small towns and visit coffee shops.

Q: What is the best book you’ve ever read?

The most recent book I read, that was so good, and one I hope to be able to share with my students is “Liturgy of the Ordinary: Sacred Practices in Everyday Life” by Tish Harrison Warren.

Q: What is your favourite spot on campus?

I think this depends on who I am with and the season :) in the summer, I love working from the Global Lounge as the sun pours in from the windows, giving the illusion of being outside, without the heat. I also love working in the pavilion, or meeting with others over a coffee or warm drink in the pavilion in the cooler temperatures, or sitting in RGK over a coffee and a chat. Basically coffee, and people and any place on campus is my favourite.
