Clinical Counsellor

Biography

As a therapist, I engage with others using a trauma-informed, and attachment-oriented lens. I truly believe that though we often experience hurt and pain in relationships, it's in safe, trusting relationships that also offer the spaces for healing.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in attachment theory and is experiential in nature. Alongside techniques from Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Therapy (AEDP) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I also carry a trauma-informed and systemic lens to help understand holistically the broader spheres and relationships that impact our present-day selves. With empathy, I work to join you in your story to help provide support in both healing and discovering parts of yourself, to help you live out your values and reach your aspirations.

I believe that the therapy space is one of courage and exploration, and I consider it a privilege to hold space and journey anyone who steps through the doors.

My first choice of self-care is a warm cup of coffee in a coffee shop, a walk outdoors or, a workout. In my downtime, I enjoy writing, reading, storytelling, and connecting with friends and family.
