

Biography
Shine earned her first Masters degree in Environmental engineering, in Incheon, Korea where she spent about 2.5 years developing a bio-membrane reactor by utilizing wastewater. Following God’s guidance, she made a dramatic career transition from engineering to teaching English in 2007. She taught grammar, Jr. TOEIC and TOFEL to teenage students in private schools, Seoul for two years and joined the MATESOL program at TWU in 2011. Since earning her second Masters degree in TESOL, Shine has been working for both the MATESOL program and TWU global as a writing instructor.
Research & Scholarship
Shine’s research interest is e-learning for teaching writing in EAP context.
