Graduation Ceremony – Saturday, April 30, 2022
Langley Events Centre
Doors are at 1 p.m. and the ceremony begins at 2 p.m.
WHAT IS THE BACCALAUREATE SERVICE?
The baccalaureate service provides a wonderful opportunity for graduands and their families to worship together and hear from members of the graduating class. It’s a time when graduands are commissioned into their next step beyond Trinity Western by the faculty and staff. Students will give testimony to God’s faithfulness and share from their journey of the last four years. The event offers a wonderful combination of formality with students wearing their graduation regalia while still being able to sit with their graduating friends. The Citizenship Awards will be presented that evening as well. The approximate 75-minute program will be followed by a reception which provides one of the best opportunities during graduation weekend for students to introduce their families to classmates as well as to faculty and staff. It is a definite highlight of the weekend, and we hope to see you there.
CAN MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WATCH THE CEREMONY?
A maximum of two guests per graduand are invited to attend the ceremony with you. When you register to attend the in-person ceremony, you must also register both guests through the link that was sent to you via email. Tickets are general admission.
If your family and friends cannot attend in person, please encourage them to celebrate your accomplishments by watching a delayed broadcast that will be posted a few days after the ceremony. A live stream of the ceremony will not be available.
IS THERE A WAITLIST OPTION FOR ADDITIONAL TICKETS?
Yes. If you would like to have more family and friends attend your ceremony, there is a waitlist option available. Using the registration link that was provided, please register your additional guests for the waitlist. Tickets will be released on a first-come, first-served basis. If tickets are available, you have 24 hours to claim them.
Is my faculty/department/program doing anything to celebrate either before or after the ceremony?

I CANNOT ATTEND THE IN-PERSON CEREMONY. HOW CAN I WATCH THE CEREMONY?
We encourage you and your family and friends to celebrate your accomplishments by watching the commencement ceremony. A delayed broadcast will be available to view a few days after the ceremony. A link to the ceremony will be emailed to all graduands when it becomes available.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY DIPLOMA?
Most student diplomas will be sent out in the mail, after the date of conferral. We will email you to confirm your current/preferred delivery address when your diploma is ready to be mailed. On-campus pickup in Langley may also be arranged. More information will be sent out by email once your diploma has been issued.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY DIPLOMA?
This will depend on your official degree conferral date. Students who complete final degree requirements in the Spring semester will receive a May 31 conferral date and will have diplomas available for pick up or mailing by the end of June. Students who complete degree requirements over the summer will receive a November 5 (graduate) or December 31 (undergraduate) degree conferral date.
