The Amazing Orienteering Race

Have you ever wondered if you and your team were on the right track? ORIENTEERING allows you to discover the importance of knowing where you are and where you need to go.

AOR has participants working in groups of 3-5 while they search all over campus via map to find markers. Racing back to home base to complete team puzzles and in the end the team who has collected the most points is declared the winner. This program highlights strategic planning, rapid decision-making, solution-finding, perseverance and team member care. Time and again teachers, coaches, and management are surprised at who is chosen for team MVPs and what participants express as critical for being a team leader.

Each team will share a distinctive learning and reflective experience, gaining knowledge about personal strengths. Also, as a whole group, you will walk away with a greater understanding of your teammates and shared laughter.
