Join SAMC Gallery Curator, Alysha Creighton, and exhibiting artist, Martin Yihan Wang for coffee, snacks and an informal conversation about his immersive installation Carillon.

Yihan Wang's honours exhibition, Carillon, poetically "reconfigures the material language of violence into a field of resonance." The immersive installation is composed of suspended bullet shells. Viewers are invited to move through and interact with the shells, which, through the viewer's interaction, resonate like bells. The work asks: “if these objects can be transformed, can our thinking about war and violence also be transformable?”
