The Graduate Certificate in Christian School Education is designed as a flexible course program, where Christian educators will be immersed in hybrid, in person, synchronous coaching as well as facilitated, asynchronous learning experiences. The program is designed to help Christian educators working full time or part time achieve their professional goals by engaging in networking opportunities, furthering their teaching and leadership practice, and completing the TQS Category 5+ level.

Program Delivery

The School of Education Graduate Certificate in Christian School Education is designed to create a community of K–12 Christian school educators to further explore the realities of the Christian school, from faith-informed approaches to teaching and learning. 

Students complete five elective courses from the Graduate Certificate program checklist:

  • EDUC 514: Assessing Students with Learning Needs

  • EDUC 540: Christian Approaches on Teaching & Pedagogy

  • EDUC 545: Assessing & Evaluating Student Learning

  • EDUC 560: Christian Schooling Foundations & Practices

  • EDUC 569: Curriculum & Pedagogy

  • LDRS 620: Worldview Foundations for Educational Leadership

  • LDRS 623: Developing Educational Programs

  • LDRS 624: School Leadership and Supervision
