Day 1: Welcome to the undergraduate class of 2026-27! This is your first day of Orientation Week, where you will be introduced to the wider community of Trinity Western University. Join our community today!

All new, incoming students moving onto campus are welcome to begin their move during this time. Make sure you check your email to sign up for a time slot. 

10:30–11 a.m.Commuter Registration  

We want to invite all our commuter students to come for registration during this time. You will be just in time for the Commuter Orientation Welcome Tour and Lunch! 

11 a.m.–12 p.m. Parents Session Kuhn Centre 115/116 

We welcome all parents to this session. TWU is committed to supporting your children both in and out of the classroom to aid their learning and personal growth. Attend this session to hear more. 

11 a.m.–2 p.m.Campus ToursDeparting from the Reimer Student Centre

Join us to tour our beautiful campus. Available every 30 minutes departing from the Reimer Building, beginning at 10am and the last tour departing at 1:30pm. 

Library & Learning Commons Open House Alloway LibraryCheck out our Norma Marion Alloway Library and all the ways you can build your academic success. 
11 a.m.–2 p.m.Complimentary Lunch Cafeteria 

All guests, please join us in the main cafeteria for a delicious complimentary meal.  (Commuter students, lunch will be offered for you in the Trinity Commons after your session)

Welcome Tour & Lunch

New commuter students are welcome here to meet fellow commuters and have a tour of the lounges specifically here for you. There will be a lunch set up in the Trinity Commons for you to enjoy with the group! 

12–2 p.m. Info Zone Various LocationsWe are excited to welcome you to the community at TWU! This is a time where you can learn about different opportunities available on campus and connect. 
12–2 p.m. Church Fair  Come and visit the Church Fair to meet pastors from local churches! This is a great opportunity to get connected to a church and grow your community. 
2–3 p.m. Mandatory Foundations Groups + Group PhotoHanson Garden Chapel

This is the first time you will meet your Foundation Group, your freshman family at TWU, and begin building your connections.

Parents SessionKuhn Centre 115/116 

For parents who weren’t able to make the first Parents Session, this Parents Session is for you.

3–4 p.m.Presidential Welcome & Deans' Ice Cream Social (For all new students & parents) Hanson Garden Chapel

Join us as President Todd Martin welcomes you to the community. This is also a great chance to meet with your deans and have some ice cream!

5–6:30 p.m.DinnerCafeteria, RSCMeal cards will be activated beginning with this meal. 
5 p.m.Women’s Soccer Match TWU vs. Univ. Of British ColumbiaChase Office Field 

Come and support our Women’s Soccer team as they play against UBC! 

 
7–8:15 p.m.Residence Building SocialRespective Dorms All resident students, join your peers for a fun evening of games, snacks, and socializing with fellow building-mates! 

 

Day 2: Continue getting connected as you join us for the morning worship service and our Square Dance to end the day. Get ready to dive into the community and start building your home away from home.

DAY 3: Start feeling equipped with our University Life session in the morning, with a bit of fun with the Dye Dash! Residents, this will be your first dorm meeting with your dorm. 

Instrumental Auditions will take place throughout Orientation and are open to students of all majors. Please contact Cathrie Yuen  to arrange an audition time.

Commuter Lunch West Coast Collegium, Douglas CentreCollegiums are open to all commuter students to relax in. Treat these collegiums as your home away from home and enjoy some pizza for lunch in the West Coast Collegium.

Attend these sessions and hear from President Todd Martin, or Dr. Rob Rhea, our VP of Student Life.

Make sure you bring your laptop to attend this essential session addressing technology related to your academics after the speakers.

Get ready to run, laugh, and get absolutely blasted with color at Dye Dash! It’s part fun run, part color explosion, and 100% unforgettable — grab your white tee, your crew, and let’s make some memories!

8 p.m.New Resident Building OrientationRespective Dorms This is a mandatory session for all new resident students. You will be acquainted with your RDs and discuss essentials of living in a space with others. 
9 p.m. First Dorm Meeting Respective Dorms Join your dorm for your first dorm meeting!  

DAY 4: Today’s all about diving into the community—start strong with mandatory group sessions, then explore your passions at the Student Life Expo. Recharge with the TWUSA (TWU Student Association) BBQ and end the day with a meaningful candlelight worship to reflect and recharge.

DAY 5: The long-awaited first day of classes! Start with Convocation to set the tone, grab your textbooks at the sale, get inspired by amazing acts at Spartan Spectacular, and don’t forget the mandatory dorm meeting to get settled and connected.
