Admission Requirements

Qualified applicants who wish to apply may begin anytime to send the following documents and information to admissions@twu.ca

  • A Bachelor of Arts or equivalent degree from an accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
  • Two references: 1) pastor 2) character. All references must be written by persons who know you well and can confidently speak of your character.
  • A TOEFL score of 90 or IELTS score of 6.5 (if applicable).
  • A personal statement describing your educational background, your reasons for attending the program, and key experiences that have led you to apply (500–800 words). A ministry goal statement of 300–500 words.

Application Deadlines 

There are rolling admission dates throughout the year. The deadline for domestic applications is one month prior to each start date of the program for each of the three semesters every academic year.

Requirements for International Students 

Successful applicants for the program in English will demonstrate English language proficiency at a graduate level of analysis and thinking. Please see the graduate studies international applicants webpage for a list of organizations that can provide an evaluation. Finances

The standard tuition rate for the Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies is $750 per semester hour. Scholarships are available for an average of 25% off total domestic tuition, with a sample scholarship rate of $563 per semester hour.
