As you navigate the changes in your life that have come about because of COVID-19, be assured that TWU cares about you and so does the staff at the Learning Commons. We are here to help you!
We exist to help you persist and thrive.
Persist (verb) per·sist: To hold firmly and steadfastly to a purpose, state, or undertaking despite obstacles, warnings, or setbacks.
Thrive (verb) \ ˈthrīv \: To grow vigorously; To flourish.
The spot on campus where everyone feels connected, respected, challenged and affirmed, in both good times and bad, throughout the adventure of learning. The Learning Commons is a pivotal and transformative resource that engages and empowers all learners for their present and future endeavours.
Because we want to deliver on our mission, we show up by:
- Believing that all students are capable of their own success.
- Creating a culture of warmth and belonging, where everyone is welcome.
- Delivering our best in all that we do, holding ourselves accountable for results.
- Taking the first step to engage learners and model our joy for learning.
You can find us on the main floor of the Norma Marion Alloway Library & Learning Commons.
