How It Works

COURSE DELIVERY
  • Course materials are available online through Moodle.
  • Enroll anytime.
  • Students have six months from their start date to complete the course.
COURSE ENROLMENT

Pay at the start and at the final assignment submission.

Students pay to start a course and when they submit the final assignment to complete the course and earn credit.

COURSE DESIGN

This course is designed to be completed asynchronously, meaning that there are no scheduled times or places that you are required to meet, even online. You can work according to your own schedule within the six months you have to complete the course. That said, this is a full university level course with an expected workload similar to a synchronous or face-to-face course (e.g. A 6 week, 3 semester hour course likely requires 20-30 hours of study per week).  There are timelines that we strongly recommend that you meet to ensure that you succeed in building your knowledge through the course. It would be to your significant disadvantage to submit everything at the end of the course.

Online courses require learners to be well-organized and self-motivated, and we have included support for students to help them develop strong learning habits that will ensure their success. For example, there are several learning activities throughout the course that are designed to help students to succeed on the course assignments, upon which student final grade will be determined. The course assignments are an opportunity to demonstrate to the instructor students’ understanding of the course learning outcomes. As students complete the activities and assessment, we encourage them to practice evaluative judgement or the ability to judge for themselves the quality of their work.
