Application Process

Look at the UT1 information and the website for Trinity Western University. We want you to understand and to be excited about becoming a student here. Email us if you have any questions.

Step One:

Contact us for an Application Package. Fill out the Application Form.  Sign the Legal Confirmation Forms.


Step Two:

Compile all your documents.

  • The application, completed and signed
  • Legal Confirmation, signed
  • Proof of graduation (certificate/diploma or school letter)
  • Transcripts from high school
  • Transcripts from other schools (if applicable)
  • Certified English translations of documents, if applicable.
  • Prepare your application fee (Canadian $150). See Methods of Payment.

Step Three:

Send your package by email OR

We will send you a response within 15 business days. We will respond by email to the address you provide on your application.

NOTE: We can make initial admission decisions based on scanned documents, but we will require official documents. Official documents are either sent directly from your school (preferred) OR sent in sealed envelopes with the school stamp/seal across the back. All official documents must be on official school letterhead and include the school stamp or seal as well as the signature of the school authority. It is YOUR responsibility to provide these documents prior to the start of classes.


Step Four

If you are accepted, please send your required payment (see Methods of Payment) as soon as possible. Payment of your fees secures your spot. Once we receive your payment, we will issue an official Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and send the forms for applying for your visa.


Step Five

Apply for your Student Visa (if applicable). If you have any questions, we can help.

Notify us when you have received your visa and booked your air ticket. If you require airport transportation, we can help.


Step Six

Check your email regularly for announcements and information from Melinda Dewsbury, the UT1 Director. The director will work with you to select some of your classes and get you registered. Feel free to ask us any questions.


Step Seven

Orientation Week begins the first week of September. We recommend that you arrive on August 30 in order to have time for orientation and to get settled before you start classes. See you then!
