Courses

This introductory course provides the skills needed to confidently navigate digital academic and professional environments. Students become proficient in creating, customizing, and implementing technology-integrated workflows for effective learning and leading. Evaluation of digital tools, platforms, and resources through critical thinking is approached through a lens of Christian ethics and responsibility. The course also highlights the value of creating safe digital communities that embody belonging, connection, and Christian hospitality. 

In this course, students will learn to successfully lead teams through developing a deeper understanding of the characteristics, developmental stages, dysfunctions, norms, and types of teams that exist in various career settings. Students will create innovative and effective strategies for collaborative problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision making, with the goal of building high-performing teams. Presented through a lens of Christian ethics, the course will provide sustainable team-based practices that take into consideration the importance of communication and team dynamics in order to successfully navigate complex, changing social and global conditions and situations.  

This course will equip students with innovative strategies that effectively respond to evolving customer expectations brought about by digital transformation. Using the “Jobs to be Done” theory, students will learn to identify, interpret, and meet the social and psychological needs of the customer from a value and customer-driven viewpoint. Students will examine how consumer behaviour influences product and service development and how to adapt processes to meet organizational needs, remain competitive, and enhance the customer experience.
