At Trinity Western, we seek to hear, understand and acknowledge our shared history with Indigenous peoples and the impact that it continues to have throughout the generations.
On February 14 and 16, 2024, TWU hosts a Red Dress Vigil — a ceremony to honour missing and murdered Indigenous people, and to raise awareness to the human crisis of the high and disproportionate rates of violence and numbers of missing and murdered Indigenous people in Canada.
- All are encouraged to wear red and bring a red dress with hanger for display.
The events will be led by Patti Victor, University Siyá:m and Chair of TWU’s Indigenous Partnership Council. To learn more about TWU's Indigenous Initiatives, please visit twu.ca/indigenous.
